This is a stabilizer bushing. It is pressed into the right (passenger) side tie rod
where the stud on the steering stabilizer passes through. It helps to minimize
vibration in the front end by cushioning the contact point between the two metal
surfaces and absorbing some of the shock from uneven road conditions.
