EMPI's Full Flow Oil Filter Pump
Has a thicker than stock housing for increased oil pressure and accommodates an oil filter for increased volume, cooling. The filter pump fits 1300 through 1600cc engines with flat cams in 1966 through 1970 Beetles and Karmann Ghias. The filter pump can not be used with stock mufflers or the below listed EMPI exhaust systems. The pump includes 6mm (for early cases) and 8mm mounting hardware and gaskets.

Not compatible with Auto Stick models.

Please Note: The Full Flow Filter Pump can not be used with stock style mufflers or the following EMPI exhausts: 3417, 3675, 3680, 3485, 3699, 55-3699, 3761, 3762, 3760, 3263, 3450, 3448, 3257, 3256, 3255.

Note: 26 mm gears provide more moderate
and desirable oil pressure than 30mm
Aluminum housings and steel alloy gears make for
superior performance. The aluminum housing expands
and contracts with heat fluctuations at the same rate
as the engine case so the possibility of leakage is minimal.
 
Flat faced cams were used until 1970, but engines built
using aftermarket cams with bolt on cam gears will also
use a flat faced cam regardless of year
