This often missing piece of tin, routes hot air
that has exited the 1/2 side, up to the air filter
via the cardboard hose. Essential to prevent icing!

For all 1300-1600cc VW engines.

Fit below the cylinder heads and push rod tubes. Channels the hot air
from the fan shroud to under the car and out back. Also protects push
rod tubes from debris.

Note: These plates are usually missing. They
should be installed for best engine cooling.
Fits under cylinder heads to deflect heat.
Will fit 66-67 models but do not have the original hose holes.

This is the heat deflector on the front
right side of the engine. The bottom piece is sold separately.
Highly recommended to cool your engine temp.
Note that there are three pieces required.

The cylinder defector tin goes between two cylinders. Directs
air in between the cylinder cooling fins. Installed above the pushrod tubes
and must be installed before the push rod tubes.Sold Each.

Fits original small style pulley tin.
Does not have intake manifold heat riser cutouts.
With original intake manifold with heat riser pipes

For 1600 cc engines.

This doghouse-style fan shroud replaced the upright version
for cars after 1971. This newer design was more effective
in treating bigger 1600cc engines.
The fan pulls in air while the shroud creates
a channeling effect to disperse it towards the Oil Cooler.
