Volkswagen Beetle CLUTCH & CLUTCH PARTS
See also "TRANSMISSION PARTS" listed separately.
Replacing the "guts" of the clutch system (pressure plate, disc and throw out bearing) is a job for the serious owner and restorer. This clutch work requires removal of the engine and may also encompass flywheel work besides the clutch guts. There are good written instructions in the "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" masterpiece and visual/oral directions in the Bug Me DVD. These are shown under "literature" and "Instructions" on this page.
