These push rod seals fit the following cars:
VW Beetle and VW Super Beetle 1961-1979 VW Karmann Ghia 1961-1974 VW Type 3 1962-1973 VW Thing 1973-1974 VW Bus 1963-71
We highly recommend that you replace these whenever you pull the heads off a 1300 through a 1600 engine. The stock tubes have a crush built into each end. If you try to stretch the old ones they will revert back to where they were crushed when they heat up. Most likely, they'll also leak. One car requires 8 tubes.
For 1300, 1500 and 1600 engines. VW Beetles & VW Super Beetles 1961-79 VW Bus 1960-71 VW Karmann Ghia 1961-74 VW Type 3 1961-73 VW Thing 1973-74
Note: bolt on valve covers eliminate bale/clip loosening. These valve covers come with o-ring stud seals to prevent oil leaks.
For all 1200-1600 cc engines.
Note: The C-Channel design provides insurance against oil leaks.
Note: These neoprene valve cover gaskets provide a better and longer lasting seal than original cork. These cover gaskets can be used with either stock or aftermarket valve covers.
The valve covers come with hardware. This kit is recommended when reinstalling as new hardware is recommended when valve covers are removed and reinstalled.
