Screws onto windshield washer bottle neck; other end screws onto the spare-tire valve on standard models, or to the washer bottle bracket on 1302/03 models. This item differs from the original spec: The tire connector must be removed before releasing the bottle cap to top up washer fluid.

The original windshield washer design had air pressure routed from the spare tire to the washer reservoir. Many owners wish to change the washer system to an all electric system using a 12 volt pump on the reservoir instead of the old air delivery system. The kit we offer (part 955449) is a self contained replacement for the original windshield washer system and includes all hardware and a separate switch.
Windshield Wiper System Maintenance:
The windshield wiper linkage should be lubricated periodically. This can be done with regular engine oil. The wiper mechanism spindle bearing sleeves should be periodically greased.
