This is the VW 3 Prong Brake Light Switch. The switch threads into the
master cylinder and operates the brake lights and the dash brake warning light.
The switch is a simple open-close circuit switch: Power in/out of two of the
terminals. The third powers the dash light.
The switch is compatible with 6 or 12 volt systems
