EMPI Solid VW Crank Pulley with Black Timing Marks Customize your Volkswagen with EMPI's Polished Aluminum VW Crank Pulley that has black timing marks screen printed around the edge of the pulley. The crankshaft pulley fits 1200cc (40 Horsepower) to 1600cc Type 1 and 2 engines and features a solid billet design. The outer diameter of this pulley is roughly 6 3/4"/171mm. Coupled with a standard upper pulley with an outer diameter of 4.25"/108mm the pulley ratio would be approximately 1 to 1.58, meaning the fan will turn 1.58 times every time the cranks makes one full revolution which is less than the factory ratio of 1.69.
