Important Information
The padding is between the convertible top and the interior headliner. It deadens sound and it insulates. The original padding was horsehair which is now obsolete. Our padding material is foam rubber. The complete kit consists of several parts:

(1) A main pad and a covering (blanket) for installation between the front and the rear top bow. This covering has heavy duty vinyl along the sides to protect against abrasion from the framework.

(2) A pair of ‘C’ shaped pads of foam encased in fabric which pad the sides of the rear window.

(3) Sufficient nylon webbing to replace all of the original top frame webbing.

There are quite a few pad kits out there. Ours conform to all the shape requirements and are carefully made.
